The Pen Blank Vice for the serious pen turner. A lot of people will drill a pen blank while on the lathe. If you’re going to do a batch of pens or getting ready for a demo then you will be mounting and un-mounting the pen blanks which can be time consuming. But if you have a pillar drill then this handy pen blank vice can save you time. Clamping the blank in the jaws of the vice ensures the blank is centred. Fix the Pen Blank Vice onto the pillar drill table will allow you to quickly drill and remove the pen blank. You can drill into the blank at either end joining in the centre hole preventing breakout of the timber. Great for creating batches. Vice will accept square pen blanks up to 1 7/8″ (47mm).
