Robert Sorby SOV-ULTCSJ Ultima Cutter Sharpening Jig

This is the Robert Sorby SOV-ULTCSJ Ultima Cutter Sharpening Jig.  A simple yet cost effective system for producing a sharp cutting edge on all full round cutters. The main body is Phosphur Bronze. Use a small amount of oil for trouble free use. The jig to rotates smoothly inside the steel sleeve. The bevel/relief face of the cutter should always be facing up. Sometimes the cutter becomes over tight whilst sharpening. To release it, insert a small bar in the release hole.  This holds the jig while the cutter screw is removed. How to use the Robert Sorby SOV-ULTCSJ Ultima Cutter Sharpening Jig Hold the sleeve and place the face of the cutter gently against the abrasive belt or wheel, then allow the jog to rotate freely inside the sleeve giving a perfect sharp edge on the cutter. Almost the same as method 1 but this time grip the knurled section between finger and thumb and slowly rotate the jig allowing the whole of the surface of the face to touch the abrasive to give a sharp edge.
