Glenn Lucas French Curve Scrapers for the ultimate finish to any bowl. Made by Hamlet tools and designed by Glenn Lucas a master bowl turner. The Glenn Lucas French Curve Scrapers are made from M2 high speed steel (HSS) and give an excellent cutting edge. There are two tools in this range the GL1S which is a 3/4″ negative rake scraper with a grind of 33 & 66 degree angles. The GL1 also has a negative rake. The angles on this tool are 66 degrees on either bevel. The GL1 is a heavy duty tool being 1 3/8″ wide x 3/8″ thick. Available in the following sizes: GL1 1 3/8″ width (3/8″ thickness) GL1S 3/4″ width (1/4″” thickness)
